When you typically think of high-end tea brands, you think of elegant packaging, usually featuring muted colors and gorgeous, precise botanical illustrations. Flowerhead, with its quirky name and even quirkier visual identity, is the complete opposite of that. Inspired by the company’s owner, who drives around California in a vintage van setting up her mobile tea shop where she pleases, Toro Pinto looked to the psychedelic and free culture of the American 60s and 70s to inform the look. In addition to taking obvious inspiration from Alice in Wonderland, Flowerhead is a brand that breaks the mold of what typical tea-branding looks like, and instead encourages customers to throw away their stuffy-airs and enjoy the magical elixir in their teacup.
