Happy Type Tuesday, y’all. Today we’re featuring Cenla Distill Operation by T. Barnes. This might be a student project as I can’t find any other information on the brand/company anywhere, but if it’s not, please correct me! This project has some really nice edited type for each of its products; Cane River Rum and Satsuma Simple Syrup. The type feels like something you’d see painted on the side of a boat making its way down the Mississippi, and considering the brand comes out of Louisiana, that’s probably an accurate guess for inspiration. I really enjoy the simple two-color palette of blue and orange, and the over-printing technique used to add depth and texture to the packaging.
